Position Related:
This position is responsible for managing Information security function within Telenor Pakistan; major responsibilities include protection of information systems and assets. This person has enterprise-level responsibility for all information security policies, standards, evaluations, roles, and awareness.
This position will work closely with users and technical groups in the development and implementation of a security strategy designed to provide a high level of information security

Eligibility Criteria (Education/Experience/ Certifications): Degree(s)/Major(s): Masters (Business Management / Computer Sciences )
Certification(s): CISA, CISSP or other relevant certifications
Experience
5+ years of relevant work experience
Goals:
Establish and maintain Information security governance.
Develop and execute Information Security Strategy.
Develop and maintain information security talent and infrastructure.
Ensuring high level of information security awareness and readiness.
Security Risk Management.
Effective security Monitoring and incident response.
Working with business partners and vendors to ensure information security across the supply chain and echo system.

Your typical day at work:
Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive information security management system/Framework.
Establishing security governance framework within organization.
Develop and implement information security policies and procedures.
Monitoring compliance with information security policies and procedures among employees, contractors, vendors and other third parties.
Develop and implement information security awareness and training program to all employees, contractors, vendors and other third parties;
Security Risk Management.
Products and processes assurance.
Developing, implementing and ongoing monitoring of security controls.
Incident management and investigation.
Monitoring compliance with relevant local laws and regulations.
Building capability and capacity of the function to cope with evolving information security challenges.
Plan and conduct security reviews (processes, systems etc)
Providing expert advice to the stakeholders.
Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:
Information security management and governance.
Practical knowledge relating to various information security standards/frameworks i.e. ISO 27001, COBIT etc.
Understanding of Telecom systems and networks.
Strong communications skills. These include the ability to engage and influence employee behaviour and perceptions.
Understanding of relevant/applicable laws and regulations.
Strong analytical and presentation skills.
People management skills (leadership qualities)
Project management skills
The individual must be a results-oriented person who can achieve tangible improvements in the corporate security arena.
Excellent technical skills are a must,
Proven security leadership experience.
