Assistant Manager Interconnect operations

Position
The incumbent will be responsible for managing all interconnect related functions with interconnecting partners and coordinating with internal stakeholders on interconnection related matters in Pakistan and AJK/GB. Have the ability to coordinate amongst multiple stakeholders both internal and external and meet their varying needs without compromising the strategic and operational objectives of the organization

Eligibility Criteria (Education/Experience/ Certifications): Degree(s)/Major(s): B.E Telecom /Electrical /Electronics With MBA Finance/MS Management as additional qualification (preferred)
Relevant work Experience is required
Goals: The incumbent will be responsible for managing all interconnect related functions with interconnecting partners and coordinating with internal stakeholders on interconnection related matters in Pakistan and AJK/GB

Your typical day at work:
Interconnection with other Licensed telecom operators (Cellular Mobile Operators, Long Distance International operators & Local loop operators)
Support to LDI on all regulatory issues, National interconnections & securing international transmission media and IPBW.
Working capital management with respect to interconnection
Support to Technology Division in timely securing transmission capacities and collocations from other telecom operators on competitive prices along with support to other interconnect partners.
Coordination on Compliance projects with internal and external stakeholders /Regulators and feasibility study
Ensuring and monitoring regulatory compliance within the organization.
Input on compliance projects to regulator
Follow-up on compliance project milestones and project reporting as per project management tools.
Monitoring interconnect Traffic and realization of interconnection related payments
Coordination with FAB to secure BTS site/Microwave link Approvals.
Handling Consumer protection related Issues with PTA.
Preparation of proposals to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.
Any other assignment
Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:
Should be able to work under pressure and be able to handle heavy work load effectively and efficiently.
Should have excellent writing skills to communicate effectively with the Government Authorities.
Should have good negotiations and expectation management skills.
Should be able to manage cross-functional teams.
Should be a recognized as a support across the company when it comes to regulatory support
