Under the special initiative of the Chief Minister of Punjab, the Government of Punjab has established the Punjab Saaf Pani Company (PSPC) with a mandate to develop, design, plan and execute projects for providing safe drinking water solutions, prioritizing underserved areas, especially in rural and peri-urban areas of the province.
The PSPC was incorporated in March, 2014 under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance 1984, and is currently in the process of planning and designing projects in the province. The process involves various technically feasible, socially acceptable and financially viable water supply solutions, depending on the nature and level of brackishness and contamination in the worst affected areas of the province. Keeping in view the deteriorating situation of water quality, the unique feature of this program is that it is being executed on war footings with a participatory approach with the end users and other stakeholders. Qualification:
Minimum Master Degree in Communication / Cultural Studies / Journalism / MBA
or BBA with a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism / Communication / Production / Multimedia Arts from reputed local (HEC recognized) or foreign institution.
Experience:
10 years of relevant experience in development communication, media management, journalism & publications, corporate branding & image with Public & Private sector. Hands on experience of using latest media equipment is desirable. Previous or current exposure in water and environmental sector is preferred.
Competencies:
The successful candidate will possess a strong strategic mindset. They would be able to design at broad level; communication tactics, media management planning, and corporate branding to effectively achieve business outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess leadership acumen, with broad vision and the ability to enable transformations of broad plans into visible actions.
