The epochal idea of Bank Islami was conceptualized by Jahangir Siddiqui & Company Limited and Randeree family in late 2003. Mr. Hasan A. Bilgrami was appointed as Adviser to the sponsors on March 16, 2004 to formalize the idea. He presented the concept paper of Bank Islami to sponsors on March 24, 2004. A detailed business plan was then prepared and a formal application was submitted to the State Bank of Pakistan on May 26, 2004. On September 26, 2005, Dubai Bank joined the Sponsors and became one of the founding shareholders of Bank Islami by investing 18.75% in the total Capital.

At present Banklslami is looking for individuals to hold the positions of “Senior Manager” and “Manager” in Legal Section of Compliance Department.
“Senior Manager” (Legal):
Position Responsibilities:
– Filing of entire litigation cases in courts as attorney of bank.
– Monitoring progress of cases and liaison with external lawyers.
– Finalization of various instruments, bank guarantee, MOTD, GPA, undertakings, agreements etc.
– Legal vetting of property documents.
– Acting as an attorney of Bank.
– Timely reporting of matters as per regulatory requirements.
Positions Eligibility:
– Minimum 6-8 years experience in relevant field for Senior Manager.
– Minimum 4-6 years experience in relevant field for Manager.
– LLB or LLM (preferred).
– Excellent report writing skills,
– Proficient in IT knowledge.
– Candidates with Banking experience will be proffered.
