In Pakistan, 40% of all diseases are from kidney and bladder origin and one in every eight Pakistani during his/her lifetime will suffer from these life threatening ailments.
The hospital is being constructed out of the refusal of the decades old harsh reality of our country that the fate of the poor patients in Pakistan are rusty and foul smelling hospitals. PKLI will prove this wrong and these patients too will receive totally free of cost treatment with state of art clinical care, at par with rich people of Pakistan, irrespective of race, religion and the color and education and research.
To make it possible we have joined hands with the Government of Punjab to build the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center (Trust) in Lahore

PROJECT MANAGER FOR HOSPITAL PROJECT IN LAHORE
The Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center (PKLI & RE), registered as a Trust and managed by a Board of Governors is setting up a purpose built Hospital for the treatment of Kidney and Liver Diseases, including Transplant Surgery that will cater to patients, irrespective of financial status. It would be an 800 bed hospital complex. A school of Nursing, Paramedics and Medical Technicians will also be established. PKU is seeking an experienced Project Manager, to oversee and manage the construction of this project. He/she will be the focal point for planning, managing and controlling of all project activities to deliver the complex on time and on cost. The PM will ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with established specifications, schedules and budgets and coordinate with Management, Consultants and Contractors. The Project Manager will build his team to ensure satisfactory delivery of objectives. The ideal candidate should have;
Project Manager
The candidates must be:
15+ years of relevant experience.
8+ years of leading large, complex projects and will have experience in relevant software applications e.g. MS Project Primavera etc.
Updated PMP certification through PMI or other accredited institution is a must.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required. Master’s Degree in a related field would be preferred. Training and/or courses in Health Care administration would be a plus.
