Reporting to the GM – Malls, this role will be responsible for strategic planning and implementation of all marketing & communication activities of their Malls, through effective management of ATL & BTL campaigns, integration of tenant marketing activities, launch of new malls and coordination with media & PR partners. Key areas of responsibility would see you focusing on the following:
Develop the seasonal, integrated marketing strategy to drive both brand awareness and retail metrics.
Work closely with tenants to integrate and create mall specific marketing calendars covering thematic and tactical initiatives
Oversee the Marketing Calendar & Department Budgets.
Manage the implementation of the marketing plan for each shopping mall ; conduct quarterly budget versus spend analysis
Responsible for ATL & BTL advertising and negotiate global agreements with agencies, and media centres
Manage and implement all aspects of new mall launch campaigns
Coordinate the implementation of CRM activities and database customers’ profile, leverage loyalty program
Implement a common customers services policy such as Free Wi-Fi, Rest Areas, Shop Mobility
Monitor sales and effectiveness of promotions, events, advertising campaigns ROI.
Drive activities that ensure achievement of footfall targets of each mall.
Drive the in-mall marketing revenue by creating and implementing a space on hire (SOH) model along with co-marketing and sponsorship programs.
Support tenants with temporary spaces, co-marketing activities;
Develop and integrate digital marketing tools i.e. sms, web site, social media, applications for smartphones.
Manage and drive PR and CSR initiatives in coordination with PR agencies.
- A Masters Degree from an Institute of repute, specializing in Marketing
- 8-10 years of experience in marketing with with a Property developer / Mall management company
- Strong understanding of Middle Eastern Retail Markets & Consumers
- You should have good knowledge of Consumer / Market Research Methodologies
- Excellent analytical, planning & organisation skills
