Purpose:

This position is responsible for developing and executing the integrated marketing plan for Pakistan & Saudi Arabia to drive growth.This includes developing deep qualitative & quantitative insights about the needs and growth potential of the markets, leveraging product portfolio offerings & formulating go-to-market strategies to achieve business goals. You will work with MENAT CMO,Country CEO,Global Marketing teams,CDMscountry commercial teams,P&L leaders and Sales teams.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute Marketing Plans and Growth Framework for the countries across various businesses for strategic market development & incremental growth
  • Collect and analyze market intelligence regularly to identify industry trends, competitive dynamics and customer requirements. Formulate related strategic recommendations for the regional leadership team to support business growth and profitability.
  • Identify and evaluate new sales leads for CDMs and Sales Managers through analytical market research; track deal execution progress for maximum revenue contribution.
  • Conduct quantitative analyses to determine market size and share for various GE businesses; update and maintain data regularly
  • Conduct “Voice of the Customer (VoC)” studies to analyze and document customer needs; put together quantitative key account analyses for detailed customer understanding; support execution of key account management principles in country
  • Analyze new market segments to quantify growth potential and deliver incremental growth opportunities; formulate go-to-market strategies to grow orders and market share
  • Implement strategic planning / growth playbook processes; coordinate data-based mid-term growth strategies in cooperation with country and region leadership teams
  • Adapt / create GE value propositions across multiple businesses, markets or applications
  • Coordinate roll-out of Marketing campaigns; design and execute customer events
  • Work with the Global Marketing Center of Excellence to implement global marketing initiatives in country
  • Partner with P&L Marketing teams to drive the one-GE approach for maximum customer satisfaction
  • Support Marketing Communications in the development and execution of country specific communication plans
  • Support launch of new products & solutions and design of new business models
  • Support MENAT region-wide Marketing initiatives; create and share Marketing best practices to drive Marketing excellence in the region

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in engineering, business, marketing or similar field
  • Minimum 10 years of marketing / sales experience
  • Solid quantitative, data mining and market research skills. Ability to translate data into strategic recommendations and actions.
  • Strong commercial instincts, tireless research, exact attention to detail and innovative spirit.
  • Excellent project management skills; demonstrated process orientation and execution focus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills and ability to influence across business teams.
  • Ability to work on multicultural and geographically dispersed teams in a matrix environment. Highly effective executive-level communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong executive presence and experience in working with senior management and Sales teams
  • Strong track record of working collaboratively to tackle cross-functional business issues.
  • Fluency in English. Arabic is a plus.

Desired Characteristics:

  • MBA or master’s degree in business, marketing or related field
  • Experience in energy or oil & gas sectors, in a commercial scope
  • Understanding of customers and drivers that impact customer behavior; customer facing experience
  • Experience in large, complex, technology-oriented companies
  • Proven track record of delivering on business goals. Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast paced environment.
