Managing Director:
The Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) is a nonprofit organization working under the auspices of the City District Government Lahore (CDGL) with a vision to modernize the solid waste management in Lahore including provision of clean and healthy environment to its citizens. The LWMC provides a unique opportunity for its employees to work in a professional environment and offers competitive market based salary with potential for professional development and growth.
The Company is looking for a highly qualified professional known for integrity, competence, foresightedness and proven record of setting high standards of leadership with matching abilities to lead high performance teams in large size organizations.
Being key position, candidate must be highly motivated and result oriented with strong leadership qualities that can direct and leads the entire organization towards realization of its, vision, aspirations and goals by formulating strategies aimed at achieving high level of customers satisfaction. In addition to management of all operations, the Managing Director will be responsible for development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives to achieve the performance targets set by the CDGL and the Board of Directors of LWMC.
The candidate must have diversified experience of leading senior level management at well-known public /private organizations in planning & development, Finance/Operations /General Administration/IT, etc. Relevant experience in the organization engaged in public services delivery inland /abroad will be of added advantage.
The eligibility criteria and other detail are as under:
Position: ‘Managing Director‘
Qualification: Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree (16 years of education) from a well-requted institute in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Sciences / Environmental Management / Social Sciences / Master of Business Administration or equivalent, preferably from a foreign university.
Experience: He must possess demonstrated experience of not less than fifteen years in General Administration / Operational Management progressively at senior level in well-reputed and well known private/public organizations.
Salary: Market Based / Negotiable.
Age Limit: Not more than 55 years.
