Details
Major Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare purchase requisitions, approve by authority and issues purchase orders in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions
  2. Track Purchasing activity and measurements. Discuss defective or unacceptable new goods or services with users, vendors and others to determine cause of problem and take corrective and preventative action after discussing by seniors
  3. Ensure supplier compliance with site and company requirements for safety
  4. Manage vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnerships
  5. Assist seniors in developing and implementing purchasing strategies for products
  6. Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials, parts, supplies and equipment in a timely and cost effective way; timely manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications
  7. Dealing with suppliers
  8. Liaise with Accounts & Finance Department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, as necessary for the business with the supplier
  9. Executing the goods, services and construction work purchases commended by the tender authority and other requirements of law regulations
  10. Providing the control of the progress payments and final accounts of the supplying companies. Reverting to the required authorities for its confirmation
  11. Verification of invoices on freight and materials
  12. Following and systematically filing the signatory circular of the demand form, invoice and other documents coming from the departments
  13. Archiving the catalogues, brochures, price lists and such documents about the material purchased systematically
  14. Executing the correspondences concerning his department and controlling the document flow
  15. Implementing the other tasks given by the superiors
  16. Generally stay up to date by engaging in continuing education in area of responsibility.

  1. Must be highly organized and detail oriented. Ability to prioritize effectively.
  2. Highly competent negotiation skills. Strong understanding of technology and IPR issues.
  3. Knowledge of and ability to negotiate intellectual property, indemnification, limitations of liability, insurance and other key contractual issues.
  4. Demonstrated computer competency and the ability to work in various applications to update, maintain or extract contract data.
  5. Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform multiple duties in a fast paced environment. Excellent Computer usage and Communication Skills.
  6. Strong understanding of legal issues and agreement structures.
  7. Ability to work well with others in complex functional/matrix environment.
  8. Highly competent ability to draft and interpret contract language.
  9. Highly competent ability to understand complex contract structures and the relationships between customer/supplier and global/local agreements and implications.
  10. Highly competent ability to assess risk and gaps.
  11. Capable of making decisions, exercising good judgment and seeking appropriate levels of approval as required.
  12. Excellent Computer Usage and Communication Skills
  13. Ability to build and maintain positive collaborative cross-functional relationships across the organization.
  14. Ability to work with peers effectively by offering solutions, showing respect and maintaining a flexible approach.
  15. Strategic thinker and Self-starter, Critical, Innovative and analytical thinking, quick and strong decision making, project and program management, effective time management, presentation, and operational analysis, good understanding of reporting mechanisms.
  16. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Projects, MS Excel (macros/vb is a plus), Presentation tools (MS Power point, xMind etc), MS Word. Database/programming knowledge will be a preferred skill.

Qualification:

  1. Minimum 16 years of education in the following fields is mandatory
  2. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or MBA (Masters in Business Administration) from HEC recognized Universities.
  3. PMP or CPM certification is preferred. Foreign qualification will be preferred.

Experience:

  1. At least 8 years of experience in relevant field. Experience in the field of Procurement & Contracts will be highly preferred. (Age Limit: Max 35 years).
  2. Knowledge of Bid documents/Evaluations and contracts.
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of RFP/PPRA Rules & Regulations
  4. Experience working in Large Corporate Environment
  5. Experience in Project Management, Organizational/team establishment, Process development and implementation, Quality Control, Change Control, recruitment, training & team building.


Required Qualification (At least one of the following.)

-Engineering
-MBA
