The Company
A family run company need a finance and administration manager to join them in Dubai.
The Role
Financial Planning, Management and Control:
- Ensuring that the Financial Plan is accurately implemented and duly reviewed and updated.
- Providing various periodical reports to include budget variance, cash flow, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Developing the Family Office annual budget by liaising with the Chairman and Group Executive Director.
- Monitoring the budget to ensure tight cash flow control.
- Maintaining accurate financial records.
- Recommending to the Chairman and Group Director any steps necessary to correct budgetary variances during the year so that the budgeted targets can be met.
- Monitoring purchasing and procurement accounts.
Reporting and Line-management:
- Reporting regularly to the Directors on relevant financial matters.
- Ensuring that the operations of the Family Office are optimally computerized.
- Coordinating with auditors during annual or periodical controls to ensure compliance with UAE law.
- Monitoring the work of and providing line-management to the Business Office Team.
Administration:
- Manage all administration staff at the Family Office.
- Communicating effectively with the Family Office stakeholders.
- Facilitate the arrangement of Family Meetings.
- Assist in arranging the travel visas and other travel arrangements of the Family Office stakeholders
- Facilitate the compliance of the Family Members in UAE immigration formalities of their household members
- Facilitate the medical, vehicle and life insurance renewals for the Family Office stakeholders.
- Provide consultancy services on business set up in the UAE for the Family Members.
- Assist Family Members in various asset acquisitions (house, car, business).
- Review and advice regarding service agreements/contracts for the Family Office stakeholders.
- Oversee the household operation of Chairman including HR issues and renovation works.
- Oversee administration of human resources, including but not limited to, maintaining personnel files, assisting with recruitment and orientation procedures, purchasing and maintaining adequate health and other insurance policies, etc.
- Responsible for legal compliance of the Family Office trade license, etc.

- Must currently be located in the UAE. No other applicants will be contacted
- Qualified Accountant or MBA
- Due diligence experience
- Must have worked in an advisory capacity
- Big 4 experience with 3-4 years PQE would be fine
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITHIN A FAMILY RUN BUSINESS
