Over the past decade, the Company has grown consistently, largely on the basis of its core competence as well as its professional management. To further strengthen our Management, the Company is looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) at its Corporate Office in Karachi.

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER – KARACHI

The COO shall provide the leadership, direction and management necessary to ensure that the Company has proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. The COO shall be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Company, developing short and long term goals, advising and counselling management in planning, formulating activities and counselling with Functional Heads on how to control operations, maintaining quality standards, supervising quality control of the manufacturing facility and ensuring all production activities are completed according to specifications.

The position reports directly to the Chief Executive / Managing Committee which includes Board of Directors of the Company.

The ideal candidate should:

Be a team player and develop smooth and constructive relationships with executive colleagues, customers, suppliers, external organizations and individuals. He must possess the ability to work with people and resolve or prevent conflict. The position requires highly refined interpersonal skills and be able to develop a big-picture perspective in order to make precise and strategic decisions about the direction of the Company.

Hold Master’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering discipline from a reputable institute with over 15 years of experience. A minimum of 05 years experience is a must at a leadership position within a Company. The incumbent should have rich working experience preferably in a processed based industry such as Fertiliser, Refinery, Oil & Gas, Cement or a Chemical based industry.

Handle detailed, complex concepts and problems, balance multiple tasks simultaneously, and make rapid decisions regarding administrative issues.

Have a pro-active approach with strong analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving and practical solution skills.

The candidate might be required to travel extensively to both local and international regions. Local travel would be predominantly to visit raw materials suppliers all over Pakistan or to our manufacturing facility which is located in Mirpurkhas, Sindh. International travel would relate to apprise with the latest development in the related field and also to explore new avenues for future growth and sales development.
